The European Team Chess Championship 2017 is held at the Creta Maris Conference Center in Hersonissos, Crete, Greece from 28th of October till 6th of November 2017. The ETCC is a 9-round Swiss team tournament in two sections (Open & Women), with matches played over 4 boards and standings based on match points.
Time control: The players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.
