The Orbis 2 GM and IM tournaments 2018 are a 9 rounds round-robin tournaments taking place between 3rd and 10th December 2018 in Paracin, Serbia.
After Gm Suat Atalik won the first Orbis GM 2018, Vuk Djordjevic took the second place and Rithvik Raja became third, now the special attraction is the paricipation of the 12 years old IM Gukesh D from India. He has just became World Cadet Champion in U12 with impressive results 10/11 and already has one GM norm. If he achieves 2nd GM norm in Paracin and after that in International OPEN Stiges in Spain, he will become world record holder for the youngest GM ever!
Time control: the players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.
