The FIDE World Cadet Chess Championship 2018 is held in in Open and Girls sections in categories under 8, 10 and 12 years between 4th and 15th November 2018 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
Each event is an 11-round Swiss open. The players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move one.
