The Individual Championship of Catalonia is a 16-player knockout tournament taking place in Vila-seca from 22-29 March. Each round consists of two games at a time control of 90 minutes for all moves, plus a 30-second increment from move one. In case of a draw rapid, blitz and ultimately an Armageddon game will be played.
