Fide Women's Candidates Tournament is an 8-player double round-robin held in Kazan, Russia from May 31 - June 18. The winner will challenge Ju Wenjun for the world title and a €200,000 prize fund.
Time control: 90 minutes for 40 moves, then 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1
Tiebreaks : 1) head-to-head result, 2) Number of wins, 3) Sonneborn-Berger tiebreaks. If all equal a rapid playoff will take place.
