Time control: players receive 25 minutes each plus a 10 second increment per move.
The event includes a Prestige rapid section which will feature many of the top players from Southern African. The top seeds are GM Sahaj Grover from India and IM Daniel Cawdery from South Africa.

The rapid event will be played over 10 rounds with 7 games on Saturday and 3 on Sunday morning. The time control is 25/25 + 10 secs per move and the round times are indicated in the brochure attached.
