34th GAMMA Reykjavik Open 2019

The Reykjavik Open is an annual chess tournament that takes place in the capital city of Iceland. The first edition was held in 1964 and was won by Mikhail Tal.  From 1964 to 1980 and in 1992 it was a round-robin tournament, currently its played with the Swiss system.

The 34th GAMMA Reykjavik Open is a 9-round Swiss tournament held in the Harpa Concert Hall in the Icelandic capital from 8-16 April 2019.
Time control: 90 minutes for 40 moves then 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment
