Wurttemberg Tournaments 2018 - Masters and Candidates of the Schachverband Württemberg taking place from 25 August to 5 September 2018 in Illertissen, Germany.
The Masters tournament is a 10-player round-robin tournament The first two players qualify for the German Championship in 2019.
Time control: the players receive 100 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 50 minutes for the rest of the game, plus 30-second increment starting from move one.
The Candidates tournament is a 9-round Swiss event. The first six players qualify for the Masters 2019.
Time control: the players receive 90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, plus 30-second increment starting from move one.
