The Oslo Chess Festival is taking place between 30 September and 7 October in the Radisson Blu in Alna, Norway. The main event is a 10-round open featuring around 97 players, that claims to be the biggest and most exciting open tournament ever held in Norway. The prize fund is 120,000 NOK (around 10,500 EUR).
Time control: the players have 90 minutes for all moves, with a 30-second increment from move 1
