The 4th edition of the Gideon Japhet Cup is a 6-player double round-robin tournament taking place from 2-6 July 2018 in Jerusalem in memory of Gideon Japhet (1928-2013) - a public figure contributed to Israel welfare and to chess popularity.
Time control: the players receive 25 minutes for the entire game, plus a 10-second increment starting from move one.
In the tournament take part chess stars as Vassily Ivanchuk, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Georg
Meier, Boris Gelfand, Anna Muzychuk and Peter Svidler.
