The 2018 FIDE Women's World Chess Championship is a 10-game match held in China between reigning champion Tan Zhongyi and FIDE Women's Grand Prix winner Ju Wenjun. The first five games will be played in Shanghai and the rest in Chongqing.
Time control: the players receive 90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment from move one.
