The 27th Keres Memorial is an 11-round rapid open taking place in the Original Sokos Hotel Viru in Tallinn, Estonia on 13-14 January 2018. Igor Kovalenko and Georg Meier are the favourites to win the €1,500 first prize in the tournament marking the 102nd birthday of Paul Keres. The time control is 15 minutes per player for the entire game, with a 5-second increment per move starting from move 1. The event is organised by the Kalev Estonian Sports Association.
