The FIDE World Cup 2019 is held from 10th of September to 4th of October in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.
System of play: 128 players knockout tournament. The first two players will qualify for the 2020 Candidates.
Time control: 90 min for 40 moves, then 30 min for the rest of the game, plus 30 sec increment from move 1.
Tie breaks: 2 games 25+10, 2 games 10+10, 2 games 5+3, if there is still a tie armageddon 5 to 4 min will be played.
